Motivation For Your Monday: Rise Up and and Praise Jesus!

and he began teaching in their synagogues and was praised by all.

WOW! I can’t believe it’s already the last Monday in January of 2019!  Boy does time fly.  I have learned so much studying this month about all the different ways we can hear from God in our daily lives.  This week I will be sharing how we can hear from God by studying the teachings of Jesus and learning about him.

But for today, Let’s just rise up and praise Jesus for all our blessings, beloved friend!

Motivation for Your Monday: The Holy Spirit Is With Us

for prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from god as they were carried along by the holy spirit. 2 peter 1_21 (1)

Well friends it’s a cold Monday in the “Ville” and I would love to be curled up on the couch in front of the fire in my blanket.  But off to work I go and so grateful I have the Holy Spirit to come along for my daily journey!

My prayer is the Holy Spirit will lead us today in all we do!

Wednesday I will bring you another video devotional about why we can rely on God’s Word in all areas of our lives!

Until then

Motivation for Your Monday! Take It To The Lord In Prayer

the lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. psalm 145_18

It’s Monday and that means its time for some motivation to get us going and to be the best we can be today!

I say we take it to the Lord in prayer and see what His Will is for us.

Jeremiah 42:3 reminds us: “that the LORD your God may tell us the way in which we should walk and the thing that we should do.”

What are you praying for today?  I’d love to pray for you.  Leave a prayer request in the comments.

Motivation for Your Monday: Open the Door

Welcome to 2019! And Blog post 100 on Living Joy Today!! It’s a  new year and a new week to come to Jesus.  Let’s open our hearts to him today.  He is just waiting for us to hear his voice and open our doors to Him.  We can hear his voice through scripture, prayer, and others, we just need to get still and listen.

Let’s plan daily time this year to get still, to be quiet with our Savior, Jesus. To borrow a phrase from Senior Pastor David Emory at Middletown  Christian Church, Louisville, KY, let’s spend some time “lingering” over His over.

Start today, open the door, there is so much goodness just waiting for us all!

Look Up, Let Go, Live Joy!

Happy New Year’s Eve 2019 Friend!  I pray that this year brings you closer to our Heavenly Father.  In January I will be writing about hearing from God.  I hope you will join me.  I am also super excited to get this year rolling as God has placed a few messages on my heart I feel blessed to share with you.

Praying your first week of 2019 is blessed to the fullest!

Motivation For Your Monday! Celebrating The Savior

Collage 2018-10-08 21_42_22

As November draws to a close this week, let’s continue to give God the praise and thanks for all things and people in our lives.   Thanks be to God for His never-failing love, peace, kindness, and strength.  But most of all, “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift”. (2 Corinthians 9:15) Jesus Christ our Savior!   Amen!
